Quinte Health is a vibrant health system focused on providing high quality care to more than 165,000 residents through their four hospitals in Ontario, including Belleville General Hospital, North Hastings Hospital, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, and Trenton Memorial Hospital. Sandbox worked diligently to reflect the values the Quinte Health website (opens the website in the same window) was looking to reflect.

Solution
After a new Strategic Plan was finalized, Quinte Health was looking to revitalize their public-facing website. In redeveloping their site, Quinte Health aimed to provide their community with an informative, easy-to-use, modern looking and quick to load website. In March 2023, Quinte Health partnered with Sandbox for the design and development of their website. Sandbox’s discovery process with Quinte Health included stakeholder interviews, a card sort activity, and a Google Analytics review.
Outcome
In August 2023, Sandbox launched the Quinte Health site. With improved search engine optimization, users may find the site with ease through their preferred search engine. Through the incorporation of new navigational features, user experience has been enhanced, thus, increasing positive engagements and reducing bounce rates. With Quinte Health’s new site, several audiences, including patients, staff, volunteers, and health care partners, may find information within a couple of clicks. Sandbox continues to maintain our relationship with Quinte Health through Sandbox hosting services, our maintenance and support program, as well as through ongoing projects.
