The Women’s College Hospital (WCH) is a teaching hospital located in Toronto, Ontario. Uniquely, WCH provides care through a women-centred approach, focusing on researching health equity and implementing solutions to ease the experience for women going through the health system.
Project drivers
In redesigning and redeveloping their site, WCH aimed to migrate all of their content away from MODX, due to extreme difficulty in updating content, adding pages, and overall, keeping their site up to date.
What we accomplished
Built in the WordPress Content Management System, the new WCH site is now equipped with accessibility tools and an overall reduction in page count, done through the amalgamation of content in accordions, which further streamlines navigation. Now that the site is in the WordPress content management system, the WCH team now has the capability to update the site with ease, and without the need of support from a web developer.
