The Town of Espanola is a vibrant community nestled in Northern Ontario, Canada, with a population of approximately 5,000 residents. As a hub for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike, Espanola offers a welcoming atmosphere, rich history, and a strong sense of community. Recognizing the need for a modern, user-friendly online presence, the Town of Espanola set out to redesign their municipal website as part of their strategic plan.
About the project
In October 2019, the Town of Espanola partnered with Sandbox Software to bring their vision for a new municipal website to life. The goal was clear: to create an accessible, user-friendly platform that would provide residents, visitors, and businesses with seamless access to municipal services and information. After months of collaboration and development, the new website (https://www.espanola.ca/) officially launched in November 2020.
