Southwestern Public Health (SWPH) is dedicated to improving the well-being of residents in Oxford County, Elgin County, and the City of St. Thomas. Through collaborations with municipalities, community agencies, schools, and health and social services, SWPH works to ensure a healthier community for all. Their commitment to public health excellence led them to seek an innovative digital solution for managing their annual planning data.

About the project

SWPH partnered with Sandbox Software to redevelop and enhance their existing Program Planning Database. Originally built on the Drupal CMS, the database had become cumbersome, inflexible, and slow. Regular software updates required assistance from the original vendor, and the system’s reporting capabilities were limited. To overcome these challenges, SWPH sought a modern, intuitive, and robust solution that would empower their teams with greater control and efficiency.

This new system revolutionized SWPH’s ability to capture, manage, and report on their annual planning data. The solution transformed the reporting process, strengthened team collaboration, and ensured strong data governance, making it easier for teams to build and execute plans efficiently.
