North York General Hospital (NYGH) is a teaching hospital located in Toronto, Ontario. As a leader in people-centred care, North York General Hospital serves the North York district, as well as the York Region in Toronto.
About the project and project drivers
As their previous site was built in the Drupal content management system (CMS), NYGH required a redevelopment in a CMS that is secure, cost effective, and suitable for growth. While the redesign and redevelopment of the NYGH site was largely a migration initiative, NYGH also aimed to improve overall site responsivity, navigation, and accessibility.
What we accomplished
With their new custom designed and developed website, from the back end, NYGH is assured that their website is secure, through consistent maintenance, and is easy to manage, with custom page templates for future content updates. For site visitors, navigation is streamlined through the use of the concierge menu, thereby quickly directing users to information that is relevant to their user-type. Through their CMS migration project, and continuous partnership with Sandbox for hosting and maintenance services, NYGH is now assured that their site is easy-to-use, secure, and scalable.
