Ecojustice is an organization that fights for the environment by using the law against those who threaten ecosystems and environments. They operate at a national level, taking on legal cases across Canada. Simply put, Ecojustice’s work is instrumental in preserving and protecting the environment.
Project drivers
In redesigning and redeveloping their site, Ecojustice desired a new accessible solution which reflected their new branding, and improved the backend of the site with a more user-friendly experience. Their previous site faced many accessibility challenges in particular, which needed to be addressed, to ensure that all individuals, regardless of ability, could access the vital information about Ecojustice’s work and initiatives.
What we accomplished
The new site went through an extensive QA and Accessibility review phase to ensure the site exceeds accessibility standards. It is now easier for users to register to become monthly donors to Ecojustice causes. The site is much easier for Ecojustice staff to update, through automated features such as adding author names to the many blog posts integrated on the site.
