About our partner

The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) is a healthcare provider in Barrie, Ontario. With a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a community-focused hospital, RVH provides both acute care and specialized treatments, ensuring accessible, high-quality healthcare for patients throughout Simcoe County and beyond.

Project drivers

After launching their website in 2021, RVH had made many updates to the website including additions of pages and content. To ensure that their site is continually accessible to individuals, regardless of ability, in 2024, RVH partnered with Sandbox to conduct an in-depth accessibility review on their website.

What we accomplished

Upon completion of the review, Sandbox presented the findings from the accessibility review and delivered recommendations to Royal Victoria Health regarding the resolution of WCAG error alerts, and how to keep content accessible.
