4-H Ontario is a non-profit youth development organization that is dedicated to bringing together youth aged 6-21 for hands-on activities and mentorship, supporting their vision of building youth as leaders within their communities and to be assets to the world. Although they have their roots in rural Ontario, over the years, they have expanded to be open to youth all across the province by organizing provincial camps, conferences, and competitions.

Project drivers

4-H’s website redevelopment was geared towards addressing the needs of their rural audience with limited internet access, focusing on ensuring fast load times and smooth performance. Their goal was to create a modern, user-friendly site that facilitates simplified pathways to membership and volunteer sign-ups. Additionally, 4-H wanted to enhance content clarity and improve search engine visibility, ensuring that site visitors can access their site features and information with ease.

What we accomplished

With design and developed in the WordPress content management system, 4-H’s new site features interactive mapping, donations forms, secure portals, and secure pages. With an updated information architecture, partnered with a concierge, 4-H’s site visitors are streamlined to the information that is relevant to them. Overall, the site is designed in a modern and user-friendly manner, ensuring a welcoming experience to all site visitors. Sandbox is proud to have partnered with 4-H for their website redevelopment and continues to maintain our relationship with 4-H through Sandbox’s managed hosting services and website maintenance program.
