Simply put, our mission is to amplify the good that our partners do to support their communities.

Our clients

To support the idea of AmplifyingGood, Sandbox has made the deliberate and intentional decision to work primarily in the public and not-for-profit sectors and they now represent more than 80% of our client base.

We understand the unique challenges and opportunities our clients are faced with and work with them to find innovative and budget-friendly solutions that meet their objectives.

To support these clients, Sandbox offers:

  • custom development at a discount
  • extended warranty period
  • additional change request hours

Our team

Working with champions of change and support in social causes makes us excited to give back to our own community.

As part of AmplifyingGood, we encourage our own team to get involved and support via our AmplifyingGood volunteer program, which offers our staff two paid days a year where they can dedicate their days to supporting charities or not-for-profits of their choice.

In addition, we organize group volunteer events for our team members to work together to support different community initiatives.

Our community

Sandbox proudly contributes to a diverse range of local charitable organizations through our quarterly financial donation program.

Sandbox also offers an annual scholarship through the University of Guelph designed to support the advancement of women in computer science while also providing co-op students the opportunity for a hands-on (keyboard) learning experience.

AmplifyingGood is at the core of everything we do at Sandbox and we’re excited to work with clients doing great things in their communities.

AmplifyingGood with the Sandbox Software Solutions scholarship

This $1,000.00 scholarship is offered through Devin and Mark’s alma mater, The University of Guelph. We are proud to support women in the computing degree program with this award (application not required).

Eligibility

  • A full time student
  • Enrolled in the Bachelor of Computing degree program
  • Completed at least 10 credits
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative grade average of 70%
